Two cars from the "caravane"

Two Thursdays ago we went to watch the Tour de France that passed within 50 kilometres of our home in France. Two hours before the race passes a big "caravane" including more than 200 vehicles drives through throwing out little gifts like hats, newspapers, keyrings and much more. Then the cyclists come through!!! The first 1 had a good lead, then two others were way in front of the rest. It was really exciting!!! Then the help cars came and the car from the team Silence (that australian Cadel Evans rides for) saw our flag and threw Sophie a water bottle!!! If the water bottle hadn't been given to Sophie it could have been given to Cadel Evans, too cool!!! Unfotunatley our camera ran out of batteries before the bikes came so click here to see pictures of the bikes.
